You don’t have to rub a magic lamp and have a genie grant you 3 wishes to have success. Genie told Aladdin “You ain’t never had a friend like me.” Too bad it was just a fairytale. A real friend will tell you like it is and honestly – you can have a better life. Don’t stop believing!

So how will you find a way to believe in yourself when other people like friends and family do not?
One of the hardest things to work with when working your home based business is when a friend or a family member doubts you or your business. Sometimes it’s even enough to make people give up on their dreams and quit completely. Don’t hold onto the fear of failure and the fear of rejection.
While each of us want the backing of our friends and family it is important to realize that just because they do not believe in you or your dreams does not mean they still can’t come true.
Whether it’s your best friend, your cousin, your Grandma, Spouse, Co-workers or parents ~ the sting of having someone you love not trust in your dream is challenging to deal with. However it can be overcome.
The first thing that home based business owners might want to do is have a sit down talk with their friends, family and loved ones. Let them know that this is a choice that you have made and you’re sticking with it, be firm.
Tell them that you are going to give this all you have and that you believe in the business you have chosen to be a part of and you would love to have their support. Most people who really care about you will be more than happy to stick by you once they know that this is a decision that you’ve made and you’re sticking by it.
Remember that some of the people you know may have had a disappointing experience with a home based business before. That will probably play a part in how they feel about your new business. Don’t let it bother you.
There are many of reasons why people fail in home based businesses. Perhaps your friend or family member was just part of a bad company. Maybe they didn’t give it enough time and energy to really see any results. Whatever the case, you need to understand that even though some people have not achieved the level of success before does NOT mean that you won’t.
Above everything else let your family to know that you love them and respect their direction. (Even if you’re not going to do it, ha ha) There is no need to get upset or have an argument just to defend your business.
The greatest thing to do when someone you love just won’t support you in your decision is just to work hard and prove them wrong. Nothing makes a negative person eat their words like RESULTS. Trust me, when the people you love see you making money…they’ll turn around.
Are you looking for a company that glorifies God?
One that cares about people, not just profits?

Especially when you’ve lost a lot of money. However, if you really hope to see success in a home based business again you have to choose to set it aside!
So exactly how do you release previous setbacks and start fresh in your home based business?
The most important thing you must remember is how you view your failure. Failure is not the opposite of success but merely stepping stone along the way. I recommend using the word setback instead of failure. You are not down for the count, just simply delayed. If you think of it this way, it will make recovery much quicker. Then you can understand that bumps in the road are common, but manageable.
Next, you must forgive yourself. Sometimes you may not even realize that you’re upset or disappointed with yourself until you really start to think about it. You have to acknowledge that yes, you may have failed but isn’t it better to try something great and fail than to never have tried at all?
We can be our own worst enemies. In order for you to truly move on and find success you should quit beating yourself up for the past setbacks.
Thomas Edison made more than 2,000 attempts before successfully inventing the light bulb. When asked about it he said that he did not fail, he just found 2,000 ways of it not working and he only needed one that did work. Failure teaches success. You learn how not to do something and that makes you better.
Step two? Forgive other people who may have contributed to your disappointments. Perhaps the person you were in business with led you down a bad road or promised you things that would not take place. Possibly your loved ones did not believe in you and that hurt your success. Perhaps people you talked to with you rejected you.
Whoever it is you need to forgive those people too. If you are holding onto any type of anger or resentment you are reducing your chance for success big time! So figure out anyone that you may be upset with or anyone who you may blame for your discouragements and forgive them.
Another thing you have to do to move on from past failures is you have to stop looking back all the time! I know it can be easy to compare everything you do now with the past but don’t. A person cannot drive effectively if they only look in the rear view mirror. When you start over you have to be able to start fresh!
Finally, in order to start over and let go of your past failures you have to encourage yourself along the way. If your goal is to make $3000 a month it is wise to rejoice in every little victory along the way. In many ways making your first $300 is as good as reaching your full goal… it means you’re on the right track and you’re on your way to victory not failure! By keeping yourself encouraged through the entire process you will keep yourself focused on the good and what you ARE accomplishing now not the past.
Let go of the preceding discouragements and get ready for a brighter more successful future with your home based business! Remember, failure and success is a choice. You can choose if you will continue to fail or if you will walk in success. So don’t stop believing, you can have success.
