Article marketing and video marketing have been observed to be potent tools for increasing traffic to your website through the production of backlinks but one vital question that has appeared is which one is better. Article marketing has already proven itself time and again to be a powerful tool for increasing site traffic while video marketing is a relatively newcomer. However, videos have been observed to be a more effective way of rapidly getting your website on the top page of the search engine results. This is due to the Google algorithm’s provision of a bigger weight to videos because it has been noticed that many people would rather watch a video than read an article.
Video sharing sites have rapidly rising in popularity and video can offer the advantage of providing credibility to your service or product. Also, video marketing is very appropriate for social networking sites because of it tends to be personal in nature. However, you will need to make sure that they are suitable for the population segment that you are targeting or they might not provide you with the desired effects. Also, videos are more difficult to create than articles and some people are camera shy. For these people, article marketing may be the only way to go but it would be a better strategy to combine the two with each one supplementing the other.
The disadvantage of article marketing is the rapidly growing competition as more and more people try to get their articles published online. As a result, you now need to publish a lot more articles in more article directories to have a better chance of their getting read by many people. Writing these articles yourself can consume so much of your time that you may no longer find time to do the other important activities in Internet marketing, so many elect to have their article marketing outsourced.
Fortunately, article writing services have been on the rise to provide you with high quality and informative articles at affordable prices. You can specify the keywords to be used, the density, and other important factors for your search engine optimization (SEO) needs. By using these services, you will also be able to get the articles ready for you much earlier than if you wrote them yourself.
Article marketing and video marketing can be used at the same time to have a more potent system for online marketing. Both methods have their own advantages and you don’t even have to write the articles yourself because writing services are available to provide them to you at a faster rate.

Tags: affiliate marketing, article marketing, article writing, bum marketing, internet marketing, online marketing, video marketingWhen you hear the term “internet marketing“, what do you think of?
For many, that term conjures thoughts of websites or spamming or search engines like Google, Yahoo and Bing. For others, it’s all about graphical design, writing fancy code or even affiliate programs. All of those answers correct, but the essence of internet marketing is much simpler.
At its core, internet marketing is about these things:
* Understanding the target market to which the product/service/cause you’re marketing will appeal
* Determining exactly how your target market interacts with the internet
* Positioning your content on the internet to attract the attention of your target market
* Collecting information about your target market (also known as “leads”) for follow-up and conversion into sales
* Design of offers or incentives to induce the desired actions from your leads
Since there is insufficient space in this article to give all of these topics adequate attention, let’s focus on just one specific topic with the realm of internet marketing: Email Marketing.
My best payoff has always come by focusing on permission-based email marketing. Permission-based email marketing refers to the practice of collecting information (including email addresses) from website visitors and communicating with them via e-mail with their direct consent. The “permission” aspect of permission-based email marketing is what separates legitimate email marketers from the spammers that everyone despises.
My love of email marketing is strong for one reason: It works very well. Email marketing has been much like a never-ending goldmine: It enables us to produce income on demand simply by sending a good offer to our list. When you have thousands of loyal subscribers – as we do – and you put a strong and compatible offer in front of them, income becomes nearly automatic.
However, the key to successful email marketing is the development of a legitimate trust relationship with your subscribers. If you opt to send your subscribers a request for purchases every single day, they will likely tire of your badgering and cease reading your emails altogether.
Alternatively, if you take the time to provide good content to your readers on a regular and frequent basis, you’ll discover that your readers take all of your emails far more seriously, and as a result your emails will be opened, read and acted upon with greater frequency. Essentially, email marketing is really an exercise in trust.
While there are many more aspects to internet marketing than just permission-based email marketing, email has definitely been the cornerstone on which our business is built.

Tags: emarketing, internet marketing, internet marketing tips, online marketingIf you’re a supporter of online commerce congratulations, there really is nothing like the internet to help you develop your business and reach your goals much easier.
However, if you’re going to devote several hours each day on online marketing you will absolutely want to keep an eye out for these time wasters so that you’re making the most of your time online.
Time Waster: Browsing Videos
I love video marketing and I highly, highly recommend it for anyone who is involved in a home based business. Here is a video marketing secret for you: do not to get sucked into checking out videos online instead of actually making your own. I’m sure that every single internet m1arketer has been guilty of this at least once or twice. You’re on YouTube, or Revver or any other free video site and you see one video that peaks your interest. Then a different video pops up and you watch that one… then another and then another…
I know checking out videos is fun but it’s not going to help your business so get in, upload and edit your videos and get out.
Time Waster: Chatting on Forums
Forum marketing is another great idea to get people interested in your business or product. Just do not spend the whole day chatting on forums when you could be doing other forms of marketing. Trust me it is easy to let time get out of your hands when on a forum. Try setting a timer or an alarm for 20 or 30 minutes and only letting yourself that much time each day to market on forums. This will stop you from talking on forums all day and allow you to get more taken care of.
Time Waster: Spending too much time on a blog
Look, you’re not writing for the New York Times. Don’t spend forever time attempting to think of the best blog post. I am suggesting that bloggers just keep it simple and not spend more than 10 – 15 minutes a day updating your blog. It doesn’t have to be perfect!
Time Waster: Tips for Organizing Your Office
It’s fine to be organized but let’s be realistic, organizing your home office or your desktop on your computer can hardly be called online marketing. Try getting all that done beforehand and spend your marketing time doing just that… marketing. A prospect does not care if your file cabinet is neat and tidy.
Steer clear from these easy to avoid time wasters and you will be getting the most out of your marketing time and most importantly success will be just around the corner!
Make more money part-time than your friends do full-time.
